despite all my rage still a rat in a maze
2004-03-13, 6:53 p.m.

so i was watching the local news for a minute the other night and they showed a shot of a track. one that i've been known to walk on and have been thinking about frequenting again. why a track and not somewhere less like a maze for a rat, such as city streets or a foot and bike path through a park, you may ask? (a) i like to know exactly how far i've gone; and (b) it tends to be after dark when i go. oh, and (c) it's all flat. but the thing is, is there a webcam now pointed at the track? because, i don't really want people watching me as i go 'round and 'round like a rat in a maze. i can't look very good. i know i don't look very happy. is there some benefit to having the camera there? do they keep a pretty constant watch on it from the campus security department? it's all i need. another reason not to exercise. reason TO exercise this weekend, by the way? not one but TWO krispy kreme doughnuts on friday. i don't even really like doughnuts. especially not the krispy kreme variety. they sure do smell good though. next time i'll just sniff at them and not eat them. yes. that's my plan. and to buy some batteries tomorrow for my cd walkman so i can go walking. and no, i can't go without music. and no, i haven't gotten an ipod yet. or one of those mini ipods. let's just see if i can get the batteries for starters, okay?
